Intratec Energy Prices & Markets
MINOR FEATURE Coverage of newly added energy-price assessments continues to expand.
MINOR IMPROVEMENT
Light fuel-oil methodology. Fuel Oil (light), household, United States (8727805-8-1) now uses a seasonal estimate for months it did not previously cover; values for December 2025 were revised as a result.
FIX
Finland natural-gas correction. A calculation error affecting the Finland industrial natural-gas price (692718-8-2) was corrected.
FIX Energy prices across a broad range of markets were revised for 2016–2026, with additional values revised for 2009–2026.
RETIRED Discontinued freight and coal assessments. Several discontinued LNG freight routes (from Australia, Norway, Qatar, and the US), a light-fuels freight route from South Africa, and a Canada coal export price were removed as no longer maintained.
Intratec Industry Economics Worldwide
MAJOR IMPROVEMENT Utility-price methodology update. Process-water cost assessments for 17 countries (Belgium, China, Czechia, Germany, Spain, Finland, France, UK, Hungary, Italy, South Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, South Africa) now use a producer-price-index-anchored model, with an estimate for forecast months; 21 other countries received calibration adjustments; every demineralized-water cost assessment now depends on its country's process-water price. Values for the affected countries were revised for 2025-11–2026-04 accordingly.
FIX
Demineralized-water input corrected. Demineralized-water cost assessments for 38 countries were corrected to reference the correct published water-price assessment; Carbon Monoxide cost assessments for the Philippines (4623285-7-4) and South Korea (6023292-7-5) were revised across their full published history accordingly.
FIX Labor-history and payroll corrections. Manufacturing-productivity equations were standardized across 38 countries, and a data-status conflict that had been suppressing 2025 employer social-security-contribution data for 17 countries was resolved — that data is now correctly published.
FIX
Location-factor correction. A calculation error that had produced a spike in early-history values was corrected for the location factor in Czech Republic (9165-6-3), Spain (0776-6-3), Germany (3943-6-2), Belgium (3750-6-2), France (2066-6-2), and Japan (4544-6-5), covering 2007–2014; location-factor assessments for Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, and Canada were revised for the same period accordingly.
FIX
Labor-factor correction. A scale-factor error was corrected for the labor factor in the United States (5920830-6-1), Chile (2223307-6-1), Colombia (4123300-6-1), and China (0520837-6-5), covering early history.
The code in parentheses after each assessment name is its API code — the identifier used to access that assessment through the API or Excel Add-in.
