Intratec Primary Commodity Prices

MAJOR FEATURE Cement is now published as standalone commodity-price coverage. Roughly 40 country-level cement price assessments, previously available only as an Industry Economics cost input, are now published as their own Commodity Prices assessments.

MINOR IMPROVEMENT Methodology refreshes were applied to butyl acrylate (Africa export, China export, Southeast Asia import), 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (South America import), toluene (Northeast Asia export), acrylonitrile (Northeast Asia export), and polystyrene scrap (Europe export).

FIX Cement and carbon steel corrections. Outlier corrections were applied to cement prices for Malaysia, Sweden, and Taiwan. Canada's cement price now uses a freight-based netback referencing US prices. Carbon steel prices for Mexico and Russia were also corrected.

FIX Ethylene, export spot price, fob Choctaw (3524110-1-11), was revised for recent months, and prices for a broad range of commodity assessments were revised for 2024–2026.

Intratec Energy Prices & Markets

MINOR IMPROVEMENT Methodology refreshes were applied to Spain electricity (heating/households), Greece natural gas (industrial), and South Africa LNG-import natural gas.

FIX Prices for a broad range of energy assessments were revised for 2024–2026.

Intratec Industry Economics Worldwide

FIX A broad revision was applied to previously published Industry Economics assessments across their published history, including Construction Worker Overtime, Bonuses & Allowances, Japan (913860-9-5) and China (153859-9-5); Intratec Plant Location Factor, Czech Republic, referenced from Saudi Arabia (9726769-6-3) and South Korea (1526760-6-3); Intratec Plant Location Factor, Spain, referenced from Saudi Arabia (1526841-6-3); and Manufacturing Worker Overtime, Bonuses & Allowances, South Africa (3139888-9-6).
